I chose this quote because, in my opinion, this quote is the
truest statement I've read. It is true that the Internet has brought us great
growth, but along with growth comes problems. There are always things that one
must protect themselves from. In this case it is cybercrime, bullying,
information overload, etc. The internet has defiantly come a long way and I
believe it can only advance. It is true, however, that there are still a lot of
barriers is has to overcome. Whether it is a college student writing a paper or
a soccer mom trying to find something for dinner, the Internet will always be
put to use.

Questions:
1. In my opinion I would be a tecknoloevangelist because I am willing to try out and use new technologies.
2. It is so problematic because some people believe that others should have a research led approuch the technology rather than assuming that just becuase they grew up around it they can use it.
3. The transmission model is a one size fits all mentality. The other differs because it disagrees that every one person can know everything.
4. Tecknoloevangelist- a person who attempts to build a critical mass of support for a given thechnology in order to establish is as a technical standard in a market.

I agree that technology introduces new problem as well as benefits! This is why it so important to teach student how to use technology productively and ethically!
