My past, present, and future.

I am from Doddridge County. I now go to Fairmont State so that I can accomplish the title of my dream job, math teacher. My dream job is to be a high school math teacher in North Carolina. I want to be the kind of teacher that meets all of the needs of the student. If they learn from hearing it, I want to say it over and over. If they learn by writing it down, I want to provide them with plenty of examples to do. If they learn by seeing it, I plan on showing them a thousand times. If they learn by doing it, I will give them extra problems to work out. Everyone is different and I hope to reach out to every student in a different way. Whenever we learn about velocity or trig, I plan on doing an experiment I learned from the movie Warrior. We take a baseball bat and break a piece of wood. From that, we backtrack to find all the variables that have effected it. Whenever we learn sine, cosine, and tangent, I plan on letting them build triagles and measure everything themselves to do their own personal experiments.
